Director of Mobilisation and associated ministries: Brazil

Short Description: The evangelical church in Brazil is the biggest in Latin America with around 40-50 million protestant believers. OM Brazil is committed to mobilising hundreds of these believers to take the message of the gospel to where there is no church. Mobilisation is about building relationships with churches and pastors, and also about strategies and tools that enable us to educate, motivate and send.  It includes also  supervision of Short Term Mission departament and local ministrie

OM Brazil is starting a new initiative to intentionally grow the number of partner churches and pastors. We recognise, however, that this is not just the responsibility of one department but of all OMers and indeed all believers. As such, this position includes working closely with the Field Leader and all departments and workers at OM Brazil.

Requirements:

  • Leadership experience and organisational skills
  • Self-motivated and able to work in a team
  • A strong desire to see the Brazilian church sending out hundreds more workers to where Christ is not known.
  • Flexibility and adaptability
  • Proficiency in English
  • Proficiency in Portuguese is essential as there will be plenty of contact with Brazilians, but training will be given if required.
  • Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Experience in teaching or training an advantage
  • Inspirational to other team members and students.

Support: OM is a voluntary organisation. As such, all workers are expected to raise their own financial support. More information will be provided on application.
