Field IT Systems Administrator (FITSA): Brazil

  • Commitment Length: 1-2 years (Full Time)

OM Brazil needs an IT Systems Administrator to ensure that effective IT tools and infrastructure are in place to enable OM Brazil to achieve its mission. The administrator is responsible for the servers, PCs, network, peripheral equipment and software and to implement standards and procedures as stipulated by the International IT Committee (IITC) where applicable.


  • Experience of systems administration of Windows-based systems, installing hardware/OS/software, configuring printers etc
  • Experience of configuring simple networks - switches/modems/routers
  • Attention to detail, and fault-finding skills
  • Experience with UNIX/Linux and Samba network shares an advantage
  • Flexible and adaptable
  • Proficient in English
  • Proficient in Portuguese (or willing to learn)
  • Good knowledge of MS products (Windows 7,8,10, MS Office, O365) and ability to assist others.

OM is a voluntary organisation. As such, all workers are expected to raise their own financial support. More information will be provided on application.
